Big Night At GSR For Swedberg

Clintonville,WI,5/17--Brett Swedberg was the man of the hour at the GSR
Kartway on Wednesday evening picking up three feature wins. Brayden
Litton, Dustin Volkmann, Brandon Reichenberger, Jake Boldig, Andrew Hock,
Dakota Quaintance, and Josh Crick also brought home feature wins on the night.
In the kiddie kart class Brayden Litton swept the nights events for the third
consecutive week. Litton cruised to victory in both of the heat races
and the feature. Braden Muench finished second in the feature in front
of Kaila Zahn.
Brett Swedberg was challenged early by Kirk Quaintance in the stock lite
feature. Swedberg led lap one of the event, Quaintance led lap
two. On lap three Swedberg regained the lead and never looked
back. Quaintance held on to finish in second. Josh Long took third
in the race. Swedberg won both heat races as well.
Dustin Volkmann turned is pole starting position into his first win of the
season. Volkmann led every lap of the race. Carter Kauth finished
in second, one spot better than Casey Sommers. Kauth, Sommers, Wyatt
Blashe, and Hunter Parsons won the heat races.
Once again Brandon Reichenberger was the winner of the controlled stock
feature. Nick Moeller came back from last, after bringing out an early
race caution, to finish in the runner up spot. Reichenberger and Moeller
were also the heat race winners.
In the stock medium race Brett Swedberg garnered his second feature win of the
night. We was virtually unchallenged during the fifteen lap event.
Joe Reuter took second in the race, while Josh Long was third. Swedberg
won both heat races as well.
Newcomer Jake Boldig picked up the win in the junior flathead feature
race. He would be followed across the line by Parker May and
Garret Strachota. Boldig and May were the heat race winners.
The stock heavy feature race was a hotly contested battle between Justin
Heiting and Andrew Hock. Marcus Yarie grabbed the lead at the start of
the race. On lap three Andrew Hock took the lead from Yarie. Then
on the following lap Heiting took the top spot from Hock. Heiting
continued to lead while being trailed closely by Hock. With the white
flag in the air, Hock dove to the inside of Heiting in turn one. Hock
made the pass stick and held on to gain the win. Heiting came home in
second. Joe Reuter was third at the end. Yarie and Hock won the heat
races.
In the pro junior animal feature Dakota Quaintance started on the pole and led
the entire race to pick up the win. Jesse Colwell took second, while
Darren Jackson took third in race. Quaintance also won two heat
races. Colwell and Brandon Long also won heat races.
In the final feature of the night, Brett Swedberg gained his third clean sweep
of the night. Swedberg held of a hard charging Aaron Milavitz to win the
pro animal feature race. Milavitz had to settle for second. Nathan
Horsens finished in the third spot.
Josh Crick was the winner of the animal heavy heat race and feature.
