Litton, Whitman And Peters Sweep Action At GSR

Clintonville,WI,5/10-- Racers were greeted by a fast and tacky race track at the GSR Kartway.  Seventy five racers toured the eighth mile clay oval.  Brayden Litton, Tyler Olson, Brandon Reichenberger, Alex Stumpf, Joe Reuter, Johnny Whitman, and Tanner Bohlen each one feature events for the second week in a row.  Brett Swedberg and Shannon Peters won their first features of the season.
 
Brayden Litton dominated the kiddie kart division for the second consecutive week.  Litton won both of the heat races and led every lap of the feature.  Kaila Zahn finished second in the feature race.
 
Tyler Olson also led every lap of the box stock feature.  Mike Moller finished in the second spot.  Third place finisher Casey Sommers was the hard charger, coming from his twelfth place starting position.  Olson, Moeller, Dustin Volkmann, and Brock Saunders won the heat races.
 
Kyle Lentz grabbed the lead at the start of the stock lite feature.  Lentz would be passed by Brett Swedberg on lap two.  Lentz continued on in second, glued to Swedberg's back bumper.  On lap eight Lentz made contact with Swedberg entering turn one.  Swedberg spun out to bring out the caution flag.  Lentz was called as the cause of the caution and was sent to the rear of the field.  Swedberg got his spot back and went on to win the race.  Kirk Quaintance came from his eleventh place starting spot to finish in second.  Lentz, Swedberg, and Nathan Horsens each won heat races.
 
In the controlled stock class Brandon Reichenberger picked up the win as he was closely trailed by Chris VanSwol for the entire length of the event.  Reichenberger and Nick Moeller each won heat races.
 
Parker May used his pole starting position to grab the lead in the junior flathead class.  May would hold the lead until he spun by himself in turn two on lap five.  Alex Stumpf inherited the lead and held it for the duration of the race on his way to the win.  May raced his way back through the field to take second.  Stumpf and May also won the heat races.
 
Joe Reuter grabbed the early lead in the stock heavy feature before being past by Justin Heiting on lap two.  Heiting's lead would be short lived though, as Reuter took back the top spot on the next lap.  Reuter led the rest of the race to get the win.  Heiting held on for second.  the heat races were won by Reuter, Heiting, Andrew Hock, and Andrew Theis.
 
Johnny Whitman cruised to a clean sweep in the pro junior animal class by winning both of his heat races and also leading every lap of the feature race.  Ben Stumpf finished the race in the second spot.  Alex Hock took third place and also won a pair of heat races.
 
Tanner Bohlen held off Brett Swedberg to win the pro animal feature for the second week in a row.  Swedberg finished in second, one spot better than Aaron Milavitz.  Bohlen and Swedberg also each won a heat race.
 
Shannon Peters also had a clean sweep in the lawnmower class by winning both the feature and the heat race.  Ty Rindt crossed the line in the second spot.
