Laabs, May And Wunderlich Sweep Final Night At GSR

Clintonville,WI,8/31--Seventy one karters were on hand for the final night of racing for the 2005 season at the GSR Kartway.  Talon Laabs, Parker May, Ryan Hinner, Jesse Colwell, Cody Wunderlich, Dakota Quaintance, Johnny Whitman, Joe Reuter, and Brett Swedberg picked up the feature wins to close out the year.

Talon Laabs once again had a clean sweep in the kiddie kart class.  He won both heat races and led the entire feature.  Brayden Litton came home in second.  Skyler Woods finished in third.

In box stock action Tyler Majeski led for the first two laps before giving way to Parker May.  May led for the rest of the race to get the win.  May also won both of his heat races.  Tristan Peebles finished second in the feature and also won a heat race.  Majeski won the other heat race.

Ryan Hinner took the lead away from Brandon Reichenberger on lap two of the controlled stock feature.  He would lead the rest of the way for the win.  Eric Klafka came home in second.  The heat races were won by Reichenberger, Klafka, Hinner, and Chantel Wunderlich.

Jesse Colwell went wire-to-wire in winning the junior one feature race. Alex Stumpf stayed close but could not make a pass for the lead.  He had to settle for second.  Colwell and Darren Jackson won the heat races.

Zach Janke led the first lap of the stock medium feature before giving way to Cody Wunderlich.  Wunderlich never looked back on his way to victory lane.  Wunderlich alos won both heats on the night.

In the junior two feature pole-sitter Cheyenne Cameron led the opening lap before being passed by Dakota Quaintance.  Quaintance held off his brother Kirk in the closing laps of the race to take the win.  Josh Long, Alex Hock, Dakota Quaintance, and Cameron won the heats.

Johnny Whitman led the entire junior animal feature to pick up the win in front of Aaron Milavitz.  Milavitz and Whitman each won a heat race.

Joe Reuter led every lap on his way to the stock heavy win.  Jusin Flaig started the race in the eighth spot and finished in second.  Justin Heiting and Reuter won the heat races.

In the WKA animal feature Brett Swdberg had the dominant kart and coasted to victory in front of Justin Anthony.  Anthony and Swedberg won the heat events.
