Stumpf Brothers Show The Way

Clintonville,WI,6/29--A new season high of eighty five racers turned out at
the GSR Kartway to put on an excellent show. Talon Laabs, Alex Stumpf,
Brett Swedberg, and Cheyenne Cameron continued to dominate there respective
divisions. While Parker May, Eric Klafka, Ben Stumpf, Justin Anthony,
and Shannon Peters each added to their win totals.
In kiddie kart action, Talon Laabs started on the pole after winning his heat
race and lead for the entire event to pick up the win. Kelin Charles
finished in the second spot. Brayden Litton took third.
Mike Moeller took the lead on lap number one of the box stock class. Parker
May, who started in the seventh position, had worked his way up to second by
lap number five. On the eighth circuit of the race May got by Moeller to
take over the lead. May never looked back, Moeller held on for second,
Taryn Bosquez finished in third. Bosquez and Moeller won the heat races.
Eric Klafka started on the pole of the controlled stock feature and was
virtually unchallenged the entire race to pick up the win. Nick Moeller
crossed the line in second, Chantel Wunderlich finished third. The heat races
were won by Klafka and Chris Van Swol.
Alex Stumpf continued to dominate the junior one division. He won his
heat race and also led every lap of the feature. The race for second was
a hotly contested battle between Jesse Colwell and Reagan May. After swapping
second back and forth May eventually came out on top. Colwell finished in
third.
Brett Swedberg also dominated the stock medium class by winning his heat race
and leading every lap of the feature. Marcus Yarie was second to the
checkered flag in front of Joe Reuter.
Josh Long passed younger brother Brandon Long on the opening lap to take the
lead in the junior two feature. Long would lead until lap fifteen when
Cheyenne Cameron got by to take over the lead. Cameron got the win, Josh
Long finished second, Kirk Quaintance finished third after starting in
eighth. Josh and Brandon Long won the heat races.
In the junior animal class Ben Stumpf led the entire race from the pole
position. Justin Kraeger finished in second. Quintin Mory-Pagel
finished third. Stumpf also won the heat race.
Kyle Lentz led the first lap of the stock heavy feature. Lentz was
passed by Brett Swedberg on lap two and led the rest of the way for the
win. Justin Flaig passed Lentz to finish in second. Lentz held on
to finish third. Swedberg was the heat race winner also.
Blaire Laughlin won the WKA animal heat race and started the feature on the
pole. She led up until lap twelve when Justin Anthony made the pass to
take over the lead. Laughlin held on to finish third. Jason Jach
passed Brad Anthony to finish in third.
In the lawn mower class heat race winner Chad Peters led the first three laps
before being passed by Shannon Peters. Shannon Peters would lead the
rest of the way for the win. Chad Peters finished in second. Steve Arndt
finished third.
