Tri-Star Late Model Challenge Series Added To Fox Ridge Speedway Schedule

(Arcadia, WI - - March 31, 2006) – FOX RIDGE SPEEDWAY owners Dave Hesch and
Jeff Reglin are pleased to announce yet another addition to the 2006 FOX RIDGE
SPEEDWAY schedule. On Wednesday July 26th, the “Tri Star Engine Supply
WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series” will make a $2000 to win visit to
‘THE BIG 3/8-MILE’ in Arcadia, WI!
The “Tri Star Engine Supply WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series” is a
WISSOTA Sanctioned Late Model Touring series which visits WISSOTA Dirt Tracks
throughout the upper mid-west with mid-week special events, providing racing
fans with some of the best dirt-track Late Model racing in the region.
“We have 15 shows booked for this season” stated Series Co-Director Craig
Sullivan, “With Fox Ridge being the 10th show on the tour and 2/3rds of the
way through the series, the drivers will surely be battling hard for the Tri
Star Engine Supply WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series Championship.”
“I think our track is an excellent venue for all types of dirt-track
racing,” offered Dave Hesch, “but it’s no secret that to really
experience the speed and potential that this speedway offers, fans simply need
to see a great Late Model event here – and the TRI-STAR CHALLENGE SERIES
visit to THE RIDGE will be an excellent opportunity for fans to see some of
the best Late Model touring drivers competing on this track!”
Defending “Tri Star Engine Supply WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series”
champion Pat Doar will be on hand for the event along with 2005 WISSOTA Late
Model National Champion John Kaanta. Mix in the rest of the high-profile
competitors from the Challenge Series, and fans will be witness to some of the
best on-track action from some of the best Late Model drivers that the area
has to offer!

The addition of the July 26th “Tri Star Engine Supply WISSOTA Late Model
Challenge Series” event - with an event purse of over $11,000, and a
Series point fund of $24,000 – to the current 2006 FOX RIDGE SPEEDWAY
schedule adds yet another high-profile event for fans to enjoy at one of the
premier dirt-track facilities in all of the Upper Mid-West.
The “Tri Star Engine Supply WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series” event
joins an already jam-packed schedule for the 2006 season at FOX RIDGE
SPEEDWAY, including three $2000-to-win USMTS Modified touring series events
(6/9, 7/14 & 8/18), a $5000-to-win WDRL Late Model Special (8/9), the
fan-favorite “NIGHT OF DESTRUCTION” (7/29) and the regular season-ending
“THUNDER AT THE RIDGE” two-day event.
And if that’s not enough, FOX RIDGE SPEEDWAY representatives are still in
negotiations to bring additional ‘High-Profile’ special events to their
ultra-fast high-banked jewel of a speedway.
