Mother Nature Interrupts A Night At Fox Ridge

(Arcadia, WI) – Cloudy skies dropped just enough rain in the Arcadia area Friday night to interrupt the evening’s racing activity at FOX RIDGE SPEEDWAY just after the heat races had come to a close. 

The postponed feature races will be added to next week’s program creating an evening of ‘double features’ at Fox Ridge for Friday night August 6th.

After heavily damaging his #T2 WISSOTA Street Stock during last week’s feature event, David Nastvold returned to FOX RIDGE in perfect form, winning the evening’s very first race. Stockton racer Shaun Wehlage won the second Street Stock heat race.

Last weekend’s WISSOTA Super Stock feature winner, Shawn Huse, passed Kelly Anderson just before the half-way point of the first Super Stock heat to grab the checkered flag – Huse’s fifth heat race win of the 2004 season. Current point leader, and defending track champion, Troy Brand passed Troy Langowski to pick up his fifth heat win of the season.

Harlan Morehart won the opening WISSOTA Midwest Modified heat race while Eric Wendlandt breezed into town for the first time this season and produced immediate results by winning the second heat race.

Les Duellman and Tim Donlinger won the two USRA Modified heat races with Charlie Schwabenbauer and Chris Gilbertson winning the two 4-Cylinder Hornets heat races.

Cody Endle won the Pure Stock feature event.

Racing resumes next Friday night August 6th with “Swim Suit Night on the Ridge” including double features. All fans wearing swimsuits at the ticket gate will enjoy $2 off the price of regular admission!
