FERGUS FALLS, MN - Officials from the Fergus Falls Raceway along with the American Speed Association (ASA) are pleased to announce that the Fergus Falls Raceway will become ASA Racing’s newest Member Track. ASA’s sanctioning body, along with it’s corporate partners will contribute to the driver’s Championship Point Fund for 2003 racing season at the Fergus Falls Raceway. The Member Track program is in it’s third year of existence and the Fergus Falls track joins the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre and Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids Iowa for the 2003 Member Track program.
The Fergus Falls Raceway was recently acquired by TNT Raceways, which also owns the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre. Prior to this purchase, the track was formerly known as I-94 Speedway Fergus Falls. Built in the early 1990’s the 3/8ths mile paved race track features a high banked racing surface along with front and backstretch grandstands and a large tailgate section overlooking the race track.
In addition to the Member Track program, the ASA promotes a National Late Model touring series which features races throughout the country. Most of these events are televised live on SPEED CHANNEL.
