Saturday Night Thunder Cancels Manitowoc Expo Races

Manitowoc, June 4, 2005 - The Saturday Night Thunder at the raceway, was rain,
not the usual thunder of the race cars that Manitowoc area race fans have all
become accustomed to hearing on Saturday Nights.
Severe thunderstorms predicted for the area, along with the thunder, and wet
track conditions from the rains that were dumped on the track as drivers
arrived in the pits Saturday afternoon caused The EWSC Board of Directors to
call the races a wash at the Expo.
Racing and the thunder of the race cars will resume with qualifying at 5:45
P.M. next Saturday at the Manitowoc Expo Speedway at The Manitowoc County Fair
Grounds.
