Eastern Wisconsin Stock Cars Moves To Manitowoc
Manitowoc County has awarded Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car, Inc. (EWSC) a three
year contract to promote racing at the Manitowoc Expo grounds.
An informational meeting will be held at the Manitowoc Expo on December 2,
2004 in the main Expo meeting building at 7pm. The purpose is to inform
drivers from the area, or who competed at the Expo in 2004 about EWSC’s
plans. We will answer questions about rules, pay out, and anything else
you wish to discuss.
EWSC board is excited about the new opportunity and looking forward to working
with such a fine and respectable organization as the Manitowoc County
Expo.
The three year length of the contract will provide stability to the Club, the
racers and the fans, knowing that EWSC will provide a great racing opportunity
in the Manitowoc community for at least the next three seasons.
Many new ideas for the race program are being discussed to enhance the long
time standards of the EWSC race programs.
The EWSC board of directors is meeting the week after Thanksgiving to finalize
the division rule changes and prepare the 2005 EWSC rulebook. Our rules
are available in book form by attending one of our monthly general membership
meetings which are held the second Monday of every month at the S&R Bar
just east of Plymouth on Hwy. C. You can also access them online by
