Deer Creek Opening Weekend News
Due to the difficult weather conditions officials from Deer Creek Speedway
announce a schedule change for the opening weekend of the Southern Minnesota
Speedplant.
Practice for Wednesday April 4th is Cancelled.
Racing action for saturday April 7th is Cancelled.
Practice will now be held on Saturday April 7th from 1 to 5 in the
afternoon. The new opener will be held on Saturday April 14th with
racing action starting at 5:00pm.
With the poor drying conditions, cold temps there is no feasible way to get
all of the new clay that was added to the track last fall to work in.
Hope to see everyone at Practice on Saturday or for the season opener on
Saturday April 14th.
