2-Premier Midwest Touring Series – 1 Night
August 12, 2005

Deer Creek Speedway, the World Dirt Racing League and the United States Modified Touring Series are proud to announce the two premier Midwest Touring Series will be racing together on Saturday September 3rd.

Due to the rain out on Tuesday August 9th the Deer Creek Speedway and the World Dirt Racing League Late Model Series have rescheduled the Midwest Wireless 50 for Saturday September 3rd.  The event will see the stars of the WDRL take on many local and regional travelers at the high banked 3/8 mile speedplant.  The drivers will be battling for the $5,000 first place prize.

The O’Reilly United States Modified Touring Series already scheduled for the racing action on that night have agreed to join in with Deer Creek and the WDRL to create one of the premier events in the Midwest.  The nights racing action should see a great turnout of modifieds as the USMTS start their final swing of the season with the 10-race AFCO challenge.  Many modified drivers will be on hand testing the track for the upcoming 7th annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree which will feature the O’Reilly United States Modified Touring Series.  The first AFCO Challenge race will see the drivers racing for the $2,000 first place prize.

Ticket prices for this exciting double header event are as follows.

Advanced Reserve Seating $22.00 – Tickets will go on sale August 13 at the speedway and will be available through September 2nd.  Kids 6-12 $5.00 with all kids under 4 free.
