Deer Creek Speedway Announces Partnership With Midwest Wireless

Midwest Wireless, a regional wireless services provider based out of Mankato
Minnesota, has joined with the Deer Creek Speedway Team as the official
wireless sponsor for Deer Creek Speedway for the 2004 racing season and is a
Major Track Sponsor of the seasons racing activities at the Southern Minnesota
Speedplant. Some new and exciting opportunities are in the works for
racing fans at the high-banked track located just north of Spring Valley
Minnesota.
Midwest Wireless will also be the title sponsor of the first ever appearance
by the WORLD Dirt Racing League Late Model racing event to be held at Deer
Creek Speedway on the 10th of August. The PolyDome WORLD Dirt Racing
League event Presented by Midwest Wireless will attract many of the big name
drivers in the Midwest to the 3/8 mile track. This show is the third
event in a four day swing of the Northern National Super Series tour through
Minnesota and Wisconsin. The date originally announced has been changed
to August 10th to accommodate a scheduling conflict with another track during
the swing. The event will pay $5,000 to the winner of the Late Model
event, with one hard charging driver receiving a $1,000 bonus for improving
the most positions through the feature event courtesy of the Deer Creek-20/20
Race Fans Hard Charger Bonus. Four avid racing fans, Greg Hummel, Bill
Nelson, Greg Parent and Troy Powers, have put up the bonus. Also on tap
for the nights racing action will be the USRA modifieds racing a $1,000 to win
event as many of the top drivers in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa
compete during the event. Everyone at Deer Creek Speedway welcomes
Midwest Wireless on board for another exciting season of racing action.
Deer Creek also welcomes on board two additional Track Sponsors for the 2004
racing season. Mike's Hard Lemonade has joined forces with Deer Creek
Speedway as the official Hard Lemonade at Deer Creek. Also The Northern
Beverage Company, the local distributors of Miller and Coors products have
joined up with Deer Creek as a Track Sponsor for the 2004 season and provider
of the adult beverages during the racing action.
GOT YOUR COMBINE YET??? What are you doing during the winter
months to occupy your time? Why not modify a combine for the Valley
Transportation National Combine Demolition Derby Event to be held on Tuesday
July 22nd. This event will pay $1,000 to the winner of the event.
Valley Transportation, Hyland Motors, Marzolf Implement Co., Matejcek
Implement and Isenberg Equipment Inc. are all proud to sponsor the event which
last season saw a record crowd pack the stands at Deer Creek Speedway.
This year's event looks to be even larger with many people inquiring about the

a Crashen!!! This event is held in conjunction with the Root River
Antique Historical Powers Association's Show located directly adjacent to the
Speedway and Campgrounds.
Want to take a peak at some of the best looking cars in the Southern Minnesota
area. Stop by the Oak Park Mall in Austin March 13 & 14 to see the
drivers in a car show. The Car Show-Swap Meet is being put on by Deer
Creek Speedway and Chateau Speedway in Lansing MN. This yearly event is
now more than a car show with the addition of a swap meet to the event.
Vendors will also be on display at the event indoors with the Car Show.
Outside in the parking lot vendors will also be displaying their wares during
the swap meet. All car owners are invited to display their vehicles free

crowd favorite this season.
