Cedar Lake Speedway Announces Tire Rule For Masters And USA Nationals
By Ron Bernhagen

February 25, 2006.  New Richmond, WI - Cedar Lake Speedway has announced the tire rule for the 2006 Masters and USA Nationals.  The tires allowed at both shows will be the Goodyear G50, American Racer 56, and the Hoosier LM40 or D55 (shoulder plated).  Tires will be thoroughly teched throughout the event.  Having the tire rule the same at both shows will provide an even playing field for drivers participating in each event and great racing for the fans.

"Without a doubt, this tire rule will increase car counts, especially at the USA Nationals, and provide the fans with very close, intense racing," stated Bob Kaufman of Cedar Lake Speedway.

The 2006 Masters event will be held on June 15, 16, and 17 and will feature two complete shows for the Lucas Oil and WDRL late models and the IRA sprint cars.  The 19th Annual USA Nationals will be held on August 3, 4, and 5.  The show is one of the richest in dirt late model racing featuring an almost $200,000 purse with $50,000 going to the winner.  The weekend will also feature two complete DTRA late model shows.
