Badger Midget Schedule Released; 25 Dates Slated

Sun Prairie, Wis., Dec. 14 - Officials of the Badger Midget Auto Racing
Association (BMARA) released a 25-race schedule for the 2007 racing season,
today. The season will mark the 71st year of sanctioning midget auto racing,
for the country's oldest midget auto racing organization. The season will be
highlighted by six events which will be co-sanctioned with the USAC National
Midget Car Series.
Sun Prairie's Angell Park Speedway will again serve as the cornerstone of the
series, with the first of seventeen races beginning held on Sunday Night May
20 with a 50-lap feature. The Angell Park season will conclude on Saturday
Sep. 1 with the running of the $10,000 to-win Firemans Nationals presented by
Pepsi. Other special events at the track include 50-lap features on May 27,
and Aug. 19. The 7th annual Hall of Fame Classic will be run as two separate
events on Aug. 26-27 co-sanctioned with USAC. The National Midget Auto Racing
Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will be held on Sunday afternoon Aug.

Badger and USAC teaming for the first time since the 1992 season will also
co-sanction events at the Dodge County Fairgrounds (Beaver Dam, Wis.) on June
1, and at the Plymouth Dirt Track (Plymouth, Wis.) on Aug. 24. The Plymouth
event will be the first midget event held at the track since Rich Vogler's
Badger victory on Aug. 2, 1985. USAC, Badger and five other series (ARDC,
MARA, POWRi, RMMRA and SMRS) will sanction the Pepsi/Mt. Dew Knoxville
Midget Nationals on June 22-23 at the legendary Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway.
Midget auto racing will be held for the first time in the 45-year history of
the Langlade County Fairgrounds (Antigo, Wis.) with an event on July 7. The
Raceway at PowerCom Park (Beaver Dam, Wis.) will host two Saturday Badger
events at facility on June 3 and July 14. For the third straight season Wilmot
Speedway (Wilmot, Wis.) will again host an August event on Aug. 4.
