Five Badger Midget Races Live On Web In 2005
Corn Fest, Hall of Fame and Fireman’s National highlight broadcast package

Concord, NC-- Shawn Wood of The Dirt Track Channel web site www.thedirttrackchannel.com  along with Fireman’s Angell Park promoter Les McBurney Jr. are pleased to announce the signing of a multiyear contract to broadcast live audio webcast of selected BADGER Midget racing events beginning on May 15th.

“I am honored to bring the excitement of Badger midget racing from Fireman’s Angell Park to a world wide audience,” said Wood. “We had a tremendous response from midget fans with our delayed broadcast of the International Midget World Series from New Zealand and I know that Midget fans around the world are going to enjoy listening to the races from Angell Park.”

A tape delayed television style video webcast will be presented on The Dirt Track Channel on its site on Thursday’s following their race webcast. Driver interviews, heat race and B-main highlights, the A-Main and post race interviews with the top three drivers will be part of the webcast. Plans are in the work to broadcast a special on the 2005 Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

Scott Hatton who won the prestigious International Midget World Series title this past January at Spring Speedway in Auckland, NZ, is the defending series champion. BADGER midget racing began in Sun Prairie in 1936.

All audio webcast will begin at 7:30pm EDT.
