By Bryan Gapinski
Pecatonica, Il, July 12---Davey Ray easily outdistanced the field to win the 20-lap Badger Midget Series feature Saturday Night at the Pecatonica Motor Speedway. The win allowed Ray to regain the series point lead.  On the opening lap Chad DeSelle, who entered the evening as the point leader stopped bringing out the caution. DeSelle retired from the event. Brandon Waelti paced the intinal three circuits, while Ray quickly moved up to third place. Mike Hess passed Waelti for the lead, one lap later Ray moved into second.

The pair pulled away from the field. Entering turn three on the seventh lap Ray passed Hess for the lead.
