BKC Helps Brannam Fund

On October 12th, the Badger Kart Club presented Phil Brannam a check for $11,336.81.  Phil is related to Linda Brannam, the only survivor in an accident in Arkansas where her husband and two sons were killed when their vehicle was struck by a drunk driver.  Linda's step son Joey was not in the vehicle at the time of the accident.  All of the Brannams were ex-members of the Badger Kart Club until recently when they moved to Arkansas.

Since that date, Bob Vehring from the Badger Kart Club, in conjunction with several organizations, helped to gather donations for the remaining family.  These funds will help with the extreme medical bills and hard times ahead.  Through the generosity of quite a few companies, on-line auctions and simple donations, the Brannam fund was built to be one of the largest
karting-related donations ever.

Phil Brannam will present the check to the Linda Brannam Fund in a few weeks in a ceremony to be held down in Arkansas.  The Badger Kart Club wishes to thank all of those who helped to support this fund.
