Cars Hit The Track To Warm Up Charter Raceway Park
April 21, 2007
by Dennis Thompson
The first on track action of the season at Charter Raceway Park in Beaver Dam,
WI took place with the first of two inspection/practice days on Saturday April
21. With ideal weather conditions, nearly sixty cars representing seven
different race divisions were on hand as drivers and crews took advantage of
the opportunity to have their cars inspected and also get in some valuable
track time in preparation for the season ahead. With every division title
coming down to the final points night of the 2006 season, many of the drivers
and crews are primed for another intense championship battle in the weeks
ahead. Another inspection/practice day is scheduled for Saturday April
28.
Representatives from Charter Communications, Johnsonville Sausage, Coca-Cola
Enterprises of Wisconsin and WOW Distributing (Miller Beer) were also on hand
in the VIP Room in support of the Open House held for the fans, drivers and
crews.
