The Raceway at Powercom Park

Russ Reinwald of Plainfield powered his way into the lead on lap fourteen and raced to his first win of the season in the 20-lap Suburban Motors Harley-Davidson/Buell Modified A-Main on Suburban Drywall Night at The Raceway at Powercom Park in Beaver Dam, WI on Saturday night. Reinwald is the fifth different driver to win an A-Main this season in the division. Joe McGrath of Neosho, who led the event for the first thirteen laps, had his best finish of the season crossing the line in second. Jim Watson of Big Bend followed closely behind in third in the highly competitive event. Steve Mueller of Mukwonago finished a strong fourth. Jay Schraufnagel of Beaver Dam drove to fifth.

Russ Scheffler of Waukesha led most of the way in capturing the Wisconsin Dirt Late Model Association 25-lap A-Main. With added funds to the purse from Heiser Trailer Sales and Leasing of Milwaukee, Scheffler picked up $1000 for the win. Jim Zdroik of Big Bend battled his way to a second place finish. Scott Cramer of Random Lake also had a strong run, finishing in third. George Scheffler of Waukesha followed in fourth. Ron Berna of Green Bay drove to fifth. 

Roger Lee of Wind Lake picked up his third win of the season as he cruised to the win in the Northwoods Paper Converting Grand Nationals 20-lap A-Main. Tim Doehling of Winneconne tried to chase Lee down but had to settle for second. Troy Weich of Fond du Lac drove to third ahead of Steve Seitz of Beaver Dam. Jeff Owens of Randolph finished in fifth.

Trevor Schmidt of Hartford moved up from his fifth row starting position to take over the lead on lap thirteen on his way to recording his second win of the season in the 20-lap Dodge Central Credit Union Stocks A-Main. Don VanderGalien of Wautoma drove to second ahead of Tim Fletcher of Burnett. Dan Troyan of Menomonee Falls, who led midway through the event, followed in fourth. Craig Lepple of Beaver Dam finished in fifth. 

Mike Mueller of Waupun, who started in the sixth row, captured his first win of the season in the 20-lap Wally’s Auto Dirt Devil A-Main. Mueller is the fifth different winner in the division this season. Brandon Rennhack of Juneau drove to second ahead of Tim Sheppard of Beaver Dam. Patrick Klawitter of Berlin had his best finish of the season in taking fourth.  Jeremy Schwoch of Waupun also had his best run of the season with a fifth place finish. 

B-Main wins were taken by Dennis Haldemann of Randolph and Dennis Krause of Oconomowoc in the modifieds, T.J. Dolhun of Franklin in the late models and Bob Fahser of Berlin in the dirt devils.

Modified heat race wins were registered by Mike Sandholm of Oconomowoc, Andy Voigt of Beaver Dam, Jay Schraufnagel, Russ Reinwald, Eddie LeMay Jr. of Milwaukee and Brian Crapser of Racine. Late model heat race wins went to Jim Zdroik, Russ Scheffler and Scott Specht of Sheboygan Falls. Roger Lee won the grand national heat. Dannon Tessmer of Allenton and Don VanderGalien were victorious in the stock heats. Brandon Rennhack, Scott Firari of Rubicon and Dustin Schwandt of Ripon won the dirt devil heats.
