July 9th Race At MIS Off ASL Schedule

OREGON, WI -- The Saturday, July 9 150-lap American StockCar League (ASL) race at Madison International Raceway in Oregon, WI will be moved to a later date.

The track had been rented to an individual to hold a concert, ASL race and possible vintage racing on July 9th, but those events have all been cancelled by the promoter of the event.

The replacement date is expected to be announced shortly for the ASL teams.

The next 150-lap event on the ASL schedule is Sunday night, July 3 at I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre, MN with racing to begin at 6 p.m.   The Mid-Am Super Trucks will also be in action July 3 at I-94 Raceway along with several other local divisions.

Tests by ASL teams on the new Hoosier tires have been very successful and a number of new teams are expected to compete at I-94 Raceway and remaining races on the schedule.
