ASL Changes Tires
BAILEYS HARBOR, WI -- The American StockCar League (ASL) has announced a tire
change beginning at the next event Sunday, July 3 at I-94 Raceway in Sauk
Centre, MN.
The current radial tire is being replaced by a Hoosier bias ply tire (3035
left and 4045 right) that is approximately half the cost of the current
tire. The change is being instituted following extensive surveys
of teams that are not participating in events. Expense of tires
has been the number one concern of non-participating teams.
Qualifying is planned at 5 p.m. July 3 at I-94 Raceway with racing to begin at
6 p.m. on the 3/8-mile paved oval. Mid-Am Super Trucks will also
compete along with several local divisions.
The ASL 150 tops off a busy two-night weekend at I-94 Raceway which includes a
Midwest AllStar 100 late model race and local divisions Saturday, July 2 at 7
p.m.
