ACR Driver Development/Rental Program For 2007 ASALMS Northern Division

Streater, Illinois (12/21/2006): ACR, an organization from the United Kingdom
with an office in Streator, Illinois, announced this summer that talks were
underway to create a driver development race team that would compete in events
throughout the 2007 ASA Late Model Series Northern Division season.
Team owner, Alan J. Currall and Team manager/crew chief, Mark D. Amenda can
offer driver development management services and a straight team/ car single
or multi race rental package to funded drivers from inside and outside of the
United States who are wishing to progress into the ASALMS, ARCA, NASCAR Busch
and NASCAR Nextel Cup Series.
“Since our press release announcing our driver development program we have
had a great response from potential drivers,” said Alan Currall, team owner.
“The ACR team are still taking applications from drivers who want to take
part in either their driver development or their straight rental program.”
He added.
Those interested in submitting their name for possible participation in the
driver tryouts for the driver development or simply applying for the rental
program can do so by emailing ACR requesting a “driver application form”.
ACR does have certain criteria they are looking for in a driver for their
driver development program, but they will be open to accepting info from any
driver that would like to submit.
For the Driver Development program, the team plans to select around 10 drivers
to participate in the test after evaluating all of the submissions. For the
rental program drivers simply complete the same form and e-mail it back.
ACR Racing will contact drivers who are selected to participate in the tryout.
Applications will be accepted by ACR throughout the 2007 season for the rental
side of their program, as it is a single and multi race rental deal.
