Columbus 151 Speedway Replaces Madison On 2006 ASALMS Northern Division Schedule
The Wisconsin 100 is set for Saturday August 5th!

Lexington, Michigan (07/13/2006): The ASA Late Model Series Northern Division
Presented by GM Performance Parts is happy to announce that in regards to the
recent cancellation of the August 4th event originally scheduled for the
Madison (WI) International Speedway date on Friday August 4th has been
replaced!
The Columbus 151 (WI) Speedway, located northeast of Wisconsins Capital
City of Madison, in Columbus, Wisconsin has graciously added the ASALMS
Northern Divisions eighth race of the 2006 season in place of the
cancelled event at MIS and will host of the cars and stars of the Northern
Division on Saturday August 5th in the running of the Wisconsin 100.
Earlier in the week, the Madison International Speedway officials dropped the
eighth event of the 2006 season from their schedule. ASALMS officials then
went to work on replacing the eighth event of the 2006 season and found a home
for the event at the Columbus, Wisconsin speed plant.
This will be the ASALMS first ever appearance at the 1/4 mile semi-banked
paved oval located in the heart of stock car country in the great state of
Wisconsin. The track is located on highway 151 between Sun Prairie and
Columbus, Wisconsin on Exit 111.
