ASALMS Northern Division Rookie Leader, Annett Heads To LGR

Chicago, Illinois (05/18/2006): Rising Star Driver Michael Annett, the ASALMS North rookie points leader, heads to Lake Geneva (WI) Raceway with momentum from his fourth place finish at Odessa, (MO). 

Annett said, “I am excited to get back on the track and earn another respectable finish.” RSDD is a program that offers a one-stop, comprehensive training and marketing resource that is unmatched in the industry. 

He is racing for Lorz Motorsports, a respected team known for excellence in the ASA Series. Annett is sponsored by TMC Transportation, a leader in the flatbed transportation industry, Benson International and Pilot Travel Centers.

Annett, who drives the TMC black and gold #12 Ford Fusion was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. Annett began an ice hockey career at the age of six and retired from minor league hockey at the end of the 2004-05 season after playing for two years on a national championship winning team. 

The Annett family and TMC have a rich heritage in auto racing spanning a period of over thirty years. Always dreaming of a career in motorsports, this accomplished athlete will now apply his winning ways in the pursuit of the 2006 ASA North rookie of the year title. He will also be running a select schedule at South Boston, Virginia (NASCAR Dodge Weekly Series) for Barry Beggarly’s team.

Kurt Smith, a co-founder of RSDD, said that he has high expectations of Annett and that he is excited that he finished so well in Odessa.
