Tyler Racing Teams Up With Tunks Motorsports For 2006

Stoughton, Wisconsin (03/14/2006): Jason Tyler Racing with driver, Jason Tyler, has announced that they have joined forces with Tunks Motorsports for the upcoming 2006 season.

For the upcoming season, Tyler and Tunks Motorsports have a busy schedule planned. In addition to running for the track championship in the ASA Late Model Division at Tyler’s home track of Madison (WI) International Speedway in Oregon, Wisconsin, Tyler and Tunks will also be running a majority of the schedule within the ASA Late Model Series Northern Division, and select appearances within the televised ASALMS Challenge Division.

“We’re looking forward to the upcoming season.” Stated Tyler as he takes time away from preparing the new cars. “ have to give a big thank you to Kevin Tunks and Tunks Motorsports for providing the team and me with this great opportunity. We’ve got a lot on our plate for this upcoming season, but with the combined experience, a great crew, and awesome equipment, we can’t wait to get started.” Tyler added. 

The 2005 season saw Tyler finish in the 21st spot in the final ASALMS points standings and also taking two wins in the ASALMS GM Performance Parts Shootouts. In addition to running in the ASALMS, Tyler finished 13th in the ASA Late Model Division points standings at Madison International Speedway despite missing three events.

To add to there already busy ASALMS schedule, Tyler and Tunks will also make select appearances within the Wisconsin Challenge Series as well as the Big 8 Super Series to make for an action packed 2006 season for the recently turned 27-year-old, in his fifth year of driving.

The Jason Tyler Racing Team is actively seeking additional sponsorship for the upcoming 2006 campaign. In the meantime, Tyler and Tunks will carry primary support on the side of his Chevrolet Monte Carlo from the Wisconsin Union Construction Laborers.

Also sporting decals on the side of Tyler’s and Tunks Machine; Bryant Heating and Cooling Systems by TSI, Supernova Productions, Culvers Family Restaurant of Stoughton, Tyler Motorsports, Sundby Ready Mix, Fagen Chevrolet-Cadillac, Morrison’s Auto Parts, Ron’s Body and Welding, Radio Shack of Stoughton and Evansville, Kahl Customs, M.P.H Promotions, Kutter Harley-Davidson, Sundown Bar and Grill, and Knuteson Communications, are all on the side of Tyler’s Lefthander Chassis.
