By: ASA Late Model Series Staff
Lexington, Michigan (01/20/2006): The sponsors continue to line up outside the
door at the ASA Late Model Series Presented by GM Performance Parts home
offices in Lexington, Michigan in anticipation of the 2006 Season. Both new
and returning sponsors alike are supporting the drivers and teams of the
ASALMS that makes running the ASALMS in 2006 a win-win situation for
all.
One of the original sponsors and supporters of the ASALMS back in the days of
the USPRO Cup Series is multiplying their support of the series in a huge way!
Port City Racecars, who were instrumental in the development of the original
USPRO Series rules in 2002 will once again be a major part of the ASALMS with
all three divisions in the 2006 season.
Today Port City will once again play a major role within all three divisions
of the ASALMS. Port City remains an integral of the Participating
Manufacturers Program. Not only is Port City Racing continuing their support
of the ASALMS, but Port City Racecars and Port City Racing South will also
show their support within all three divisions of the ASALMS.
"Port City Racecars are a main stay in the ASALMS and it is just great to
have their support in all three divisions!" Stated ASALMS
Founder/President Ron Varney. "We've worked together with Harley Boeve
since our USPRO Cup Series days and we really appreciate the value that Port
City brings to our teams." Varney added.
