Haseleu To Make Select ASALM Appearances In 2006

Marshall, Wisconsin (01/06/2006): One of the premiere short track drivers in
the country, has announced his plans to compete in several ASA Late Model
Series events in 2006. Marshall, Wisconsin veteran, Nathan Haseleu, has
announced plans on racing a partial schedule within the ASALMS Challenge
Division in The Swiss Colony, Club LeMark, Chevrolet Monte Carlo owned by John
Grueneberg.
Haseleu's first appearance in the televised Challenge Division in 2006 is
tentatively set for Saturday May 27th at his home track of Madison (WI)
International Speedway. Haseleu's plans to make additional appearances may
include the huge event at the famed Milwaukee Mile on August 26th during the
2006 Governor's Cup Weekend and the ASALMS Challenge Division Season
Championship event at the all new Iowa (IA) Speedway in Newton, Iowa on
October 14th. In addition to his Challenge Division schedule, Haseleu will
race select events in the ASALMS Northern Division to be determined as
well.
During the 2005 season, the Marshall, Wisconsin driver made one start in
ASALMS competition at Madison as well as winning five features also at Madison
in the tracks ASA Late Models Division. Despite missing two events, Haseleu
finished second in the final points standings.
Over his 11-year career, Haseleu has ran in the NASCAR Craftsman Trucks Series
and in 2001, he recorded an impressive four top 10s, all 10th place showings!
Nathan is a former track champion in divisions ranging from Super Late Models
to Hobby Stocks at Columbus 151 (WI) Speedway and Jefferson (WI) Speedway.
Most recently, he captured the 2005 Championships in the Wisconsin Challenge
Series.
One of Haseleu's biggest career accomplishments came in 2005 when he won the
prestigious Slinger Nationals at the Slinger (WI) Super Speedway during a week
where he won three features at three different tracks over a four day period.
Over his career, Haseleu also has three wins in the prestigious Miller Classic
held every season at Madison. Nathan also has one NASCAR Elite Division
Midwest Tour Series win at Chicago (IL) Motor Speedway.
In addition to Haseleu's ASALMS plans, his 2006 season will also call for the
team to once again compete on Friday nights back at Madison in the ASA Late
Model Division, now the premiere division at the fast 1/2 mile high-banked
paved oval. Finally, Haseleu will also compete when the schedule allows in the
Wisconsin Challenge Series for owners, Gary and Jo Schultz.
Haseleu is looking forward to another successful year. "This year we are
