DAYTONA BEACH, FL (April 26, 2007) - Three-time ASA National Champion Kevin
Cywinski will be among the top Late Model drivers in action when the American
Speed Association Kwik Trip Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power
Equipment takes to the track Saturday April 28th at the Elko Speedway.
Cywinski a veteran short track driver, was the 1986 CWRA Late Model Champion
before moving to the ARTGO Challenge Series, where he collected several wins
and the 1995 ARTGO Series Championship. Cywinski then moved to the ASA
National Tour, where he won the 1996 Rookie of the Year award, followed by the
Series Championship in 1997. Cywinski then went to race in the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series for a couple of years, before returning to his ASA
roots and claimed back-to-back Championships in 2003 and 2004. Today, Kevin is
Vice-president of Competition and part owner of Country Joe Racing in
Lakeville, MN. Much of Cywinski's time is now spent working on driver
development, but on occasion, he will get back behind the wheel and show
everyone that he still has the ASA Champion's touch.
