American Speed Association Touring Stars Poster Unveiled
DAYTONA
BEACH, FL (March 26, 2007) The American Speed Association Kwik Trip
Midwest Tour presented by Echo Outdoor Power Equipment has unveiled the design
for the 2007 Touring Stars poster.
"This is exactly what has been missing over the years. You just don't see
this type of thing anymore these days and we are going to put a lot of effort
in to recreating what excitement once was there. We are printing 10,000 of the
Touring Stars posters and another 5,000 with a photo of all of the registered
drivers (through March 17) to be distributed throughout the Midwest. Our
sponsors, our racers, their crews, and our fans are going to be helping us
spread the word by seeing that they are widely distributed. We have to band
together to make sure that short track racing stays alive and that the tracks
stay successful. Special thanks go to Doug Hornickel on the photography and
Advantage Motorsports Marketing for the creation of the posters, ASAMT Vice
President Steve Einhaus said enthusiastically. |

The posters, available by early-April, will be distributed to the majority of
Echo dealerships, Kwik Trip and Kwik Star stores, particularly those near
ASAMT event venues. The purpose is to build excitement on the local level and
appealing to fans that may otherwise be unaware such a racing Tour would be
visiting a track nearby. The posters will be ideal for collecting autographs
during the scheduled sessions at every event and to save as souvenirs. Kenny
Richards (Montello, WI), Dan Fredrickson (Elko, MN), Nathan Haseleu
(Pardeeville, WI), Rod Wheeler (Hortonville, WI), Josh Vadnais (White Bear
Lake, MN), Brad JJ Mueller (Random Lake, WI), Dave Feiler (Sun Prairie,
WI), Donny Reuvers (Dundas, MN), Adam Royle (Farmington, MN), Steve Carlson
(West Salem, WI), Travis Sauter (Sauk City, WI), and Jamie Iverson (Escanaba,
MI) are the Kwik Trip Touring Stars for the inaugural 2007 season.
The ASAMT Touring Stars will make their debut at the ASA Midwest Tour
inaugural season opener at Elko Speedway April 28, 2007.
