Ashland, WI, July 22 -- Reserved tickets, seats and camping sites for the 2006 Red Clay Classic will go on sale Saturday, July 29, according to ABC Raceway officials.

The 31st running of the traditional season-ending stock car race event, which will feature approximately 200 WISSOTA late models, modifieds and super stocks competing for a purse in excess of $60,000, will take place Friday and Saturday, September 29-30. Social events during the weekend will include a dance and a golf tournament, and the racing action will include the championship round of the Como Oil Mod Series and a 50-lap late model feature paying $4,000 to the winner.

Reserved seats for adults are available for $40 each, while children’s seats are $24 each. The package includes a two-day ticket pass that will allow the bearer to enjoy the entire race program. Seats will be marked reserved and considered claimed upon receipt of payment in full, and the number of seats are limited.

Raceway camp-site reservations are available for $25 each and will only be honored for the designated camping areas on the grounds. Once payment is received for a camping site, a sticker will be sent out that must be displayed on that camper’s front window to show payment in full. If there are sites available after noon on Friday, September 29, they will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis but must be paid for at time of arrival.
