I-94 Raceway Season Opener Rained-Out

SAUK CENTRE, MN (May 5, 2007) - Afternoon showers with more rain in the
forecast prompted Track Officials from the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre to
cancel the season opening event scheduled for Saturday May 5th. The
rescheduled first race of the year is now slated for Saturday May 12th. It
will be Moms and Modifieds night at the races. Mothers accompanied by their
children will receive a discounted admission. The Modified division will be
running a 40 lap feature in addition to the regular program of ASA Super Late
Models, Great North Legends, Thunder Cars and UCARs.
Spectator gates open at 5:30, with qualifying scheduled to begin at 6,
followed by the first race of the night at 7 PM. Race fans are encouraged to
tune into "Speed Talk at I-94 Raceway, presented by Chris & Rob’s
Chicago’s Taste Authority" every Saturday night from 6-6:30 on AM 1390
KXSS, The FAN, St. Cloud. For more information about the 2007 racing season,
