Two Days Of Racing Ahead For I-94 Raceway

(SAUK CENTRE, MN) July 1st--Back-to-back nights of racing will heat things up during the Fourth Of July weekend at the I-94 Raceway in Sauk Centre. On Friday July 4th, seven divisions of cars will take to the track as the normal Saturday night show moves ahead a day. A special 100 lap Late Model race will highlight the night’s action, followed by a fireworks display and post-race party.

On Saturday July 5th, the NASCAR International Truck and Engine Corporation Midwest Series takes center stage as they will run the July Spectacular 150. In addition, the Modifieds, Thunder Cars and UCARs will also run as a part of the program. The 150 lap NASCAR race, marks the return of the touring series that last stopped in Sauk Centre in 1998.

Several of the Midwest's top Late Model drivers such as Steve Carlson and Brian Hoppe will take many on Minnesota’s top drivers such as Bryan Roach, AJ Rhoads, Tim Olson, Jon Lemke and Josh Vadnais.

Spectator Gates, both nights open at 5:00, with Qualifying slated for 6, followed by racing at starting at 7:00. For additional information and further race updates, refer to I-94 Raceway’s Official Web Site www.i94raceway.com.
