Beaver Dam, WI - For the second week in a row, Kurt Davis won the Midwest Sprintcar Associaion Feature race at The Raceway at Powercom Park. K.J. Skelton edged his lead over Troy Hepfner in the season points standings.

Danny Schlafer jumped out with Lance Fassbender to a straight-away lead on the opening leads, only to have it erased with a pair of early race cautions. With just five laps in the books, Davis had advanced to the second spot followed by Skelton all the way up from his sixth row starting spot.

Another lap later, Davis battled by Danny Schlafer to take the lead. By mid way through the 25 lap race, Hepfner had had advanced to the top four, as Hepfner, Skelton and Danny Schalfer engaged in exciting combat for the second spot.

The last yellow came out on the 14th lap, with Davis still on the point, followed by Skelton, Hepfner, and Danny Schlafer. Davis would go on to hold off a last lap challenge by Skelton to pick up the win, Skelton, Hepfner, and Danny Schlafer held the top four in that order. Troy Wondra rounded out the top five.

Todd Lehr finished sixth, Fassbender slipped to seventh, and Tim Haddy advanced from deep in the field to finish eighth. Jerry Ski picked up KSE Hard Charger honors advancing 11 spots to finish ninth and Joe Wipperfurth capped the top ten.

The first of two Triton Trailers B-Main, was green to checker David O'Neal, with Mark Wernes Jr. and T.J. Luedke rounding out the top three transferring to the Feature. The second B-Main was green to checker Tim Haddy holding off Jerry Ski, Aaron Schipper finished third.
