(KAUKAUNA, WI) -Scott Hansen, Kevin Cywinski, Joey Clanton and Brian Hoppe are among the long list of celebrated racers scheduled to participate in Oneida Bingo & Casino's Rev It Up Weekend, June 6-9 at Wisconsin International Raceway (WIR).

Green Bay, WI native Scott Hansen is pumped up about this unique race weekend. He will be driving all four days and can't think of anything better. "To be racing in Northeast Wisconsin in front of the hometown crowd in three great races! You bet I'm pumped!" said Hansen, "It's a great track, with some of the nation's greatest race fans and I'll do my best to bring them a win! Hansen has had 26 career ASA wins and ranks in the top five of all-time in wins, laps led, and money won.

ASA driver Joey Clanton (age 29), who made history last weekend by winning the first four races of the season, looks forward to Sunday, June 9 and the Oneida Bingo & Casino ASA 300. "Things are really coming together for me this year. The ASA Rookie of the Year title in 2000 was nice, but it just might be my year for an ASA Championship," said Clanton. "Hope it is! My team's working hard to get there!"

To win at WIR, Clanton will have to deal with former ASA and WIR Champion Kevin Cywinski. The Mosinee, WI native claimed the 1997 ASA National Championship and then spent a couple of seasons with the Busch Grand National and Craftsman Truck series before returning to the ASA ranks. "Wisconsin International is one of the toughest tracks in racing and we hope our return there will be successful," said Cywinski. "We know what needs to be done to win there, so we hope we have an advantage over most of the other teams."

Cywinski's LaFarve Racing Team teammate Dan Fredrickson of Elko, MN is leading the points in the battle for ASA Rookie of the Year honors. Fredrickson is the reigning NASCAR REMAX Challenge Series Rookie of the Year. "Back to back honors would be spectacular considering these two series are so well thought of around the country. I learned a lot at the two races at WIR last season and hopefully we can use that to our advantage for the Rev It Up Weekend," said Fredrickson. "I'm really looking forward to racing with the REMAX guys again!" Both Fredrickson and Cywinski are planning to race both the ASA and NASCAR events.
