NASCAR and ASA RACING EVENTS to be Announced at April 9 News Conference at Oneida’s Radisson Hotel
(GREEN BAY, WI)—Stars of the NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge
Series will be among those gathering at the Radisson Hotel on Tuesday, April 9
to announce major NASCAR and American Speed Association (ASA) racing events
scheduled for the Fox Valley this summer. It will be the first time NASCAR and
ASA events have been held in the same venue on the same weekend and it’s
happening in our own backyard.
Media members are invited to join us for the
announcement at 2:00 p.m. in the Heron Room in the Oneida’s Radisson Hotel and
Conference Center.
Top competitors of the NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge
Series and of ASA will participate in the Oneida Bingo & Casino 250 NASCAR
race and the Oneida Bingo & Casino ASA 300 race to be held at Wisconsin
International Raceway, Kaukana, in June. Oneida Bingo & Casino will
introduce the spectacular weekend of spectator involvement.
Officials from NASCAR and ASA racing will join race
organizers and sponsors at the April 9 announcement. They include Jeremy Davidson, NASCAR’s Manager of Communications
from Daytona, Florida and NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge Series Director and NASCAR
Regional Director, Clem Droste
NASCAR, America’s number one spectator sport, is gaining tremendously in popularity.
Oneida Bingo &
Casino has been a title sponsor of exciting NASCAR RE/MAX events at WIR since
1999. This will be the first year they
sponsor an ASA race, which makes a rare and highly anticipated appearance in
Northeast Wisconsin.
