Back To The Norm At The 141

by Dan Deicher

Francis Creek, WI. - With the fast paced schedule of racing last weekend at the 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, one would think it would be hard to top the excitement of two races ( Mars cars and the Mid-Am's) that went down to the wire and winners decided by inches of front bumper. Well, leave it to track owner, Matt Rowe, to once again make things interesting at the 141 on both Saturday night and Sunday afternoon.

Saturday night is Stock's Harley Davidson night featuring 40 lap features in all divisions, One on One Street Drags and the return of the almighty Wisconsin Sport Trucks Series. The gates open at 3pm, qualifying at 5:30 and the green flag drops for racing action at 7pm. On Sunday, it's the return of the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series Event. It's 300 laps or two hours of racing action, which ever comes first. Pits will open at 10am and the gates will open to fans at Noon. Following that race is the Compact Car Enduro which will feature between 40-100 laps of racing action depending on the car count that day.

Also, make plans now to help Matt Rowe, staff and drivers celebrate the fifth anniversary of the return of racing action at the 141 Speedway, coming up on August, 24th. Tickets will only be $5 as they were five years ago. According to Rowe, " Fans will not only see some of the best in racing action with the Mini Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Mid-Ams and Super Stocks along with Two Man Cruisers, but other activities are in the planning stagesd as we speak".
